Having a solid academic background in Children, Childhood, and Youth Studies from York University and a diploma in Liberal Arts from Seneca College, I am passionate about promoting mental health and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.

As a future therapist, my primary objective is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can openly express their concerns. Hello, I’m Alexandra, and I want you to know that you’re not alone in your journey. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a proud member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP), my commitment is to meet you exactly where you are. I embrace a client-centered approach that sees you as an equal partner in our therapeutic relationship.

My aim is to create an environment that is safe, supportive, and completely free of judgment. In this nurturing space, we can tap into your innate capacity for growth and transformation. Life’s challenges may sometimes obscure this potential within us, but together, we can uncover your personal strengths and nurture your aspirations for positive change.

My background is rooted in psychotherapy and spiritual care, which complements my earlier education in psychology and health sciences. Through my experiences, I’ve addressed a wide range of concerns, from major life transitions to depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, trauma, addiction, identity issues, and the application of an emotion-focused approach in couples therapy.

Much like a well-oiled machine, I believe that spiritual, physical, and mental health are interconnected and crucial to the healing process. In our therapy sessions, we can explore questions like, “How can I come closer to living a more fulfilling, meaningful life?” To do this, I draw from a diverse array of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, narrative therapy, and CBT, all of which are evidence-based and adaptable to various challenges. I’m also able to provide services in Macedonian and offer culturally sensitive support for individuals from this background.

If you’re considering therapy or have questions about the process, I warmly encourage you to schedule a free consultation. Remember, the journey to healing begins with one small step forward. You’re taking that step, and I’m here to walk with you.

I offer individual and couples talk therapy to adults, bringing warmth, empathy and patience into each interaction. My aim is to make therapy a safe, comfortable and non-judgmental space where the healing process can take place. Multiculturalism is a key point in my practice. I also practice through a strengths-based lens, tailoring my approach to fit each individual’s diverse background. I integrate various evidence-based treatments to support my patients in developing better self- awareness, feeling “unstuck” and learning new skills (e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy, emotional focused therapy, attachment theory and mindfulness techniques). As a relationship therapist I help couples and individuals navigate relationship conflict so they feel more connected. Our conversations will provide you with opportunities to identify and shift negative and painful cycles, explore and understand the impact of the past on your current relationship, and find new ways to communicate with your partner.
